Coyotes on the Move for Cancer Survivor

(PALM DESERT) — Coachella Valley resident and cancer survivor Dawn Lovejoy got an unexpected lift today when a pack of Coyotes showed up at her doorstep to help her move. From left are quarterback Taylor Genuser, linebacker LeRon Wilson, Mrs. Lovejoy, cornerback Chris Kelly and receiver Wayne Jacobs.

The SoCal Coyotes are a non-profit sports leadership organization whose players volunteer throughout the community, and work with area businesses through its Head of household Work Leadership (HOWL) program.

The 6-1 Coyotes are ranked second in the nation among 800 AAA teams, and return home Saturday at 1 p.m. at Xavier College Prep to face the Las Vegas Lions.
