Coyotes Unleash Mobile ‘YAPP’

(PALM SPRINGS) — The desert champion SoCal Coyotes made football history again today when the team officially released its GoMobile ‘YAPP,’ available in the iTunes store and Android Market.

The SoCal Coyotes beat most Arena Football League teams to market, and their product will “grow to be comparable to that of any NFL or CFL team,” said Coyote president and head coach J. David Miller. “We own a Lamborghini and Coyote fans get to drive it.”

“We gave the Coyotes a one-of-a-kind masterpiece,” said Damien Zamora, CEO of team sponsor and app developer GoMobile Solutions, of Newport Beach (CA). “It’s live and ready to download.”

The Coyotes’ 44-0 opening night victory was streamed around the globe and listened to by fans in four countries and 16 states.

Coyotes fans around the world who download the YAPP will enjoy the following features:

–Listen to live game day play-by play action –
– Ask the Coach questions directly via the app –
– Post FAN comments and FAN photos of the football action –
– View the upcoming schedule –
– Shop via the app for Coyotes merchandise –
– Watch Coyotes videos –
– Get timely team news –

“The app experience makes the ways ourfans traditionally interact with us that much easier,” said Miller. “From reading the latest team news, to buying tickets to even putting yourself in a Coyote helmet, our fans are going to love it.”

The app is designed to bring the interactive SoCal Coyote experience to fans wherever they may be. Users can peruse the 2013 schedule, interact with the team through Twitter and Facebook, and even learn about Xavier College Prep, where the Coyotes play their home games.

Fans can visit Coyote team sponsors and enjoy all of their amenities, discounts and loyalty programs. The ‘news’ section will be updated daily and icons lead users to biographical information on the most marketed team in AAA football history.

Soon-to-be-added is a one of the more fun and unique aspects of the app: Fans can add a Coyote helmet and eye black to a picture of themselves or a friend for a one-of-a-kind souvenir.

“It’s an amazing amount of information fans will have available at the press of a button,” said Miller. “And best of all, for Coyote fans, it’s free.”
