Coyotes Rise to 13th in National Polls

0

(PALM SPRINGS) — The SoCal Coyotes moved to 13th in the nation in the Western Blue poll of the Amateur Football Power Ratings (AFPR), trailing only the national champion Inglewood Blackhawks and UFAL champion California Raiders among ranked Southern California Football Alliance teams.

The Western Blue ranks the nation’s top 52 teams. The Oklahoma Thunder is ranked first.

The Inglewood Blackhawks are ranked third, while the unbeaten California Raiders are 10th. The San Diego Thunder are in the 16 spot, followed by the California Tide at 17, and the Southern California Steelers at 18.

The Coyotes (3-1) narrowly lost to the Thunder in a wild shootout, then handily beat the California Tide the following week.

The desert champions control their own destiny. The Coyotes return home this week to face the Crown City (Belmont) Hilltoppers, then travel to San Bernardino to face the Raiders.

On October 12, they return home to face the Steelers and the Las Vegas Lions, then head to Inglewood for the much anticipated showdown with the Blackhawks on October 26.
