PACK ATTACKS FROM COYOTES, WITH LOVE – FOUR-TIME CHAMPS ANNOUNCE PEDIATRIC HOPE PROGRAM Posted on January 12, 2016 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr (PALM SPRINGS) –Ailing children throughout the desert’s hospitals who could use a visit, card or call from the four-time champions received great news today when the SoCal Coyotes non-profit sports leadership organization officially announced its new Hospital Pediatric Program (HOPE). The four-time champion Coyotes, whose leadership initiatives already touch 30,000 Coachella Valley youth each year, are set to deliver a little amazing grace to any child throughout the valley – in the form of a call, card or visit. Hospital visits for children between the ages of newborn to eight receive a stuffed animal – also delivered with tender loving Coyote care by players in uniform. “The gift of a smile to a suffering child is life-changing,” says veteran strong safety Anthony Spencer, a team captain frequently at the ‘tip of the sword’ in Coyote community leadership efforts. “Every time we reach out to kids in our community, I’m amazed. it’s remarkable what a simple act of kindness can do.” The Coyote HOPE program is simple, endearing and similar to those of NFL teams – and poised to provide a positive lasting impression on patients and families. “Faces light up when they see a football player in uniform enter a child’s room,” says Ron DiGrandi, Coyotes SVP and community outreach director, who invites your phone call or email. The Coyotes also throw in some real get-well-soon incentives: All families receive complementary season tickets and front-row seats to the Coachella Valley’s most dominant football program in history. For more information, email Ron DiGrandi ([email protected], or call 760.285.7073. THE SOCAL COYOTES raise funds and donate thousands of dollars annually that affect every desert community. In addition to championship football, Coyote programs touch thousands of youth through coordinated efforts with numerous local charitable and civic organizations, including Boys & Girls Clubs, the YMCA, the Desert Strength Academy, the Boys & Girl Scouts of America, and Rotary International.
