Paw Patrol: Coyote Golf Classic Feb. 17

The talk will turn from blitzes to bogeys this Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. when 1010 AM host Julie Buehler shares thrilling details of the First Annual Coyote Golf Classic with team vice president and event organizer Laurie Beth Miller.

The girls also will be joined by team captain and 7-time All-American tackle Kyle Moore. “It’s not unusual to see a coyote roaming a golf course in the Valley, but on February 17, they will be running in packs,” says Miller. The event will be held at the exclusive Palm Desert Golf and Country Club.  Sponsored by SWAT Fuel and Crater Lake Vodka, the shotgun start Coyote Classic will feature a star-studded lineup and a host of action-packed festivities, including —

  • Golf with the Pros and Coyote All-Americans, including quarterback National Player of the Year Nate Lewis and David “The Diesel” Cathcart
  • Tournament and Door Prizes
  • Awards Dinner Buffet
  • Live Band Entertainment
  • Silent Auction

The winner of the hole-in-one shootout will get a brand new, fully customized — and highly coveted — SoCal Coyote golf cart, designed by Oscar Arbulu and Caddyshack Service.  “It’s going to be a blast,” says Miller. “It’s time to play for show and putt for dough.”

The event is a Sunday afternoon. The Coyotes play at home the night before (February 16) against the Arizona Firekats.

The long ball contest will include any participant who can drive farther than the yardage total of Nate Lewis, who currently leads the nation in passing with a passer rating of 138.2.
