Playing for the first time in their new home at the elite Palm Valley School, the Coyotes scored on touchdowns by rookies Robert Taylor and Marques Prior, and veterans Ross Robertson and Ti Simmons. It was the Coyotes (1-0) first game in the Gridiron Developmental Football League (GDFL), while San Diego slipped to 1-1. “We’re not where we want to be,” said Coyotes’ Hall of Fame head coach J David Miller (89-13), of his 34-plus member 2021 rookie class. “But thank God we’re not where we used to be.” For more game coverage, photos and videos, visit the SoCal Coyotes Facebook page.
