DFI NAMES JENNIFER BRAUN DIRECTOR OF FUND DEVELOPMENT

(LOS ANGELES) – Developmental Football International (DFI) announced Jennifer Braun will serve as Director of Fund Development, and will lead the planning, execution, control and evaluation of fundraising, public relations, and outreach as it relates to fund generation for the organization.

Ms. Braun brings 20 years of experience in nonprofit consulting and fund development & grant writing services for nonprofit & government agencies (municipalities and counties). Her exceptional grant writing skills are enhanced by her educational achievements, completing UCR’s Nonprofit Management and Advanced Nonprofit Management programs.

As a result of Ms. Braun’s experience and education, she has garnered more than $100 million in grant funding for various organizations and agencies across the nation. Ms. Braun is recognized as a leader in her field, named as Top 50 Women In Philanthropy – Desert Charities News, October 2019 and nominated as Outstanding Fundraising Professional – 2020, by the Association of Fundraising Professional, Desert Chapter.

Ms. Braun also owns and operates CFO Nonprofit Consulting Services, a for-profit business where she is a Senior Consultant. As Senior Consultant, Ms. Braun supports multi-million dollar operating budgets for large nonprofit organizations, including the SoCal Coyotes, Boys & Girls Clubs of Coachella Valley and Imperial Valley, and California Fire Museum & Safety Learning Center.

She is pictured here with Coach Ken Carter, who was played by Samuel L. Jackson in the movie ‘Coach Carter.’ The film is based on the true story of the now-famous Richmond High School basketball coach, who made headlines in 1999 for suspending his undefeated high school basketball team due to poor academic results.
