Head coach J David Miller and Brandon O’Neill, VP Program Development, were recognized at the weekly noon meeting of the Palm Desert Rotary at Desert Falls Country Club. They were joined by quarterback and MVP Michael Karls, retired Hall of Fame center Brian Gollnick; team captain,defensive end and all-time Coyote sack leader Jake Sheffield, and corporate partner Eugene Buchanan. Rotary International is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Rotary’s Motto for over 100 years is “Service Above Self” – values espoused by not only Coach Miller and Mr. O’Neill, but a staple of the entire SoCal Coyotes three-time champion organization. The Coyotes are frequent volunteers at the Palm Desert Rotary’s community initiatives. Weekly meetings of the Palm Desert Rotary are each Tuesday at 12pm, at Desert Falls Country Club.
