Players, coaches and staff of the Coyotes non-profit sports leadership organization lead team-building seminars and host the annual flag football game several times a year at the RCPD’s Youth Strength Academy. The Coyotes reciprocally support an array of Riverside County law enforcement agencies and their programs, including Real Men Read at the Indio Juvenile Hall, in conjunction with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office. The Riverside County Probation Department’s YAT offers at-risk youth throughout the county an alternative positive environment during their summer recess from school. The week-long academy is held in the desert and western regions of the county and services middle and high school aged youth. Approximately 108 youth from all school districts throughout the county who are concurrently under contract with YAT are selected to participate in the week-long themed academy.
