GoMobile Solutions supports an entire international network of resellers that “levels the playing field for small businesses, giving them equal access to technologies and providing the capabilities to take advantage of the new mobile economy,” according to Ian Welsh, company co-founder and chief financial officer. The SoCal Coyote App will be released in the Apple iTunes store later this week. Mr. Welsh is a former general manager of the Arena Football League’s Anaheim Piranhas. A graduate of Notre Dame, Mr. Welsh visited the Coyotes in April and watched the playoffs from the sidelines in Las Vegas. “I’m extremely impressed,” said Mr. Welsh, who has been CFO of other multi-million-dollar corporations in Dallas, and Orange County. “The Coyotes are a dynamic model of what AAA football should be. From their corporate offices, to senior management, to their boots on the ground, they run a tight ship. “GoMobile Solutions and the HOWL program are giving players who take their lives seriously a chance to be as financially successful as they are on the field. The current mobile marketing phenomenon offers income potential to match.” Participating players are given offices with computers and phones, and training is paid for by GoMobile Solutions under the Coyote scholarship. Four players are currently enrolled. The first to graduate and make a sale was 22-year-old linebacker Jordan Cornell, who has hit the ground running. “This is huge for our program,” said Cornell. “Now players from anywhere in the country can join the Coyotes and play football, and make a living. lt took me less than a week to complete the training. In one day, I built my first mobile app. In less than an hour, I was sitting in front of a client, and closed my first deal. And I’m selling over the phone, too, because with the GoMobile Solutions support team, I can close an account anywhere in the world.” Over the past decade, Mr. Welsh said, the GoMobile team has focused exclusively on helping merchants and all types of small- to-medium-size businesses succeed in an increasingly technology-based marketplace. Kerry Ryan, the Coyotes VP Business Development, says GoMobile Solutions underscores the importance of the HOWL program. “We are training our players in demonstrable skills that will aid them in all walks of life,” said Mr. Ryan, “We’re not giving away free fish.
