Uncategorized Gollnick Encourages his new Quarterback Posted on February 26, 2013 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr (HEMET) — The Coyotes 6-3, 325-pound veteran center Brian “Porkchop” Gollnick is always good for a smile — but there’s nothing funny about his dominating play and lunch-bucket work ethic, or his support of the organization and his teammates. After quarterback Mondo Delgado Jr. suffered a six-turnover night against the arch-rival Vegas Trojans, Gollnick offered this to his young quarterback via text — “Hey buddy — just keep your head up. The worst is behind us. All we gotta do is keep working and move forward. I’ll be there for sure on Tuesday for practice. We will get the snaps down and kick some ass! I believe in you. Let’s go win the championship. Nothing will be better than coming back, and beating them in the championship.” Winners, apparently, feel responsible for more than just their own jobs.
