Uncategorized FOOTBALL 101 FOR LADIES: JULIE BUEHLER, COYOTES SUPER BOWL FEST BENEFITS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS Posted on January 12, 2016 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr (RANCHO MIRAGE) – Let’s face it, women want to know what really happens inside a pro football locker room. Is an ‘inside shade’ a pair of indoor sunglasses? Is a ‘tight end’ a noun or an adjective? Ahem. These mysteries – and much, much more – will be unveiled when the four-time champion SoCal Coyotes join sports media pioneer and television personality Julie Buehler at the Ritz-Carlton on Thursday night, January 28, for “Football 101 for The Ladies.” This exciting – and fun – crash course for women throughout the valley will give them a unique competitive advantage when they match wits and enjoy the upcoming Super Bowl with friends and significant others. Refreshments begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the seminar, which will run from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The real winners won’t just be the women in attendance – proceeds benefit Shelter From the Storm – the valley’s only resource for comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence. With just a few hours of power, Ms. Buehler promises that women of all ages will learn the lingo, spout the stats, and even scribble some strategy in time to enjoy the big game. So ladies – get ready to not just watch the commercials, but silence the proverbial ‘know-it-alls’ who plague most Super Bowl parties. “It will be an entertaining evening,” says Ms. Buehler, who will be joined by an array of football insiders that include the Coyotes, as well as other former and current players. “Nothing is off limits.” The night’s festivities include a raffle and silent auction, and the whole evening is just $25 at the door, which also covers refreshments.
