SoCal Coyote News Coyotes Set March 16 Open Tryout for 2014 Campaigns Posted on February 28, 2014 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr (CATHEDRAL CITY) – The two-time champion SoCal Coyotes will hold their first 2014 tryout Sunday, March 16, at 3 p.m. Camps are run by members of the club’s scouting staff as well as select position coaches. Testing at all camps includes: 40-Yard timing, pro agility shuttle, basic football drills and 1-on-1’s. Each participant is required to wear black or navy blue shorts and a plain white t-shirt. After check-in, you will receive a Coyote T-shirt. If you have highlight film please bring it along to the workout. Players who earn a coveted position on the team will receive a full scholarship, with zero team fees. The Coyotes practice at the five-star Desert Princess Golf & Country Club, and their 53-man roster enjoys unprecedented all-inclusive amenities, from their practice facilities to golf, lighted tennis, fitness center, spa and lighted basketball privileges, and swimming pools. The “Pride of the Desert” SoCal Coyotes will practice within the meticulously manicured, plush, 27-hole championship golf course – maintained by Jonas Conlan and the world-class groundskeepers of the Desert Princess. In addition to their 100-yard practice field that the team will use twice a week, the Desert Princess is creating a private 60-yard practice field that players may use along with other resort facilities at their discretion, any time, seven days a week. Coyote practices will be open to the public and the 1,084 homes within the gated community. Beverage carts will provide refreshments, while food service will be provided in the clubhouse.
