Uncategorized COYOTES HOST UGANDA AGAPE KIDS CHOIR Posted on March 1, 2017 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr (CATHEDRAL CITY, CA) – Coachella Valley youth will enjoy the cultural impact of The Uganda Agape Kids Choir in March as guests of the SoCal Coyotes, when the non-profit sports leadership organization serves as one of the hosts for the 23-voice choir for their ‘Never Once Tour.’ Traveling 9,300 miles from the small village of Kampala, Uganda, to the Coachella Valley, the choir will begin begin its tour on March 5 at The Bridge Calvary Chapel in Cathedral City. Sandi Balli, a director of missions at The Bridge, orchestrated the tour as a U.S. facilitator for the Agape Kids Choir. She said the Cathedral City church has long supported the village, its outreach, and vision. This has culminated into a much-anticipated opportunity to bring the children overseas for a concert series packed with interaction, cultural diversity and unity. “We are overjoyed,” said Mrs. Balli. “The amount of time many volunteers have given to see this dream come true just goes to show what can happen when you stay faithful to a vision, and trust the Lord. Our church and our community cannot wait to experience their performance.” It’s difficult enough for American children – with community resources and support – to travel abroad, tour cities and perform for large crowds. But for this group of 23 young children from Uganda, to live a dream of this size is near fantasy. Having experienced the message of Jesus Christ, these Uganda kids are fulfilling their dream of bringing that message back to the United States through song and dance. In full Uganda attire and culture representation, they will perform songs, play instruments and share an eternal message of faith, hope and redemption that crosses all worldly limitations. Traveling halfway around the globe, The Agape Kids Choir touring group and chaperones arrive from Uganda at LAX the week of February 25th. After the March 5th performance at The Bridge, the choir will perform at a number of other locations throughout the Coachella Valley. To discover more, visit www.AgapeKidsChoir.com.
