BARNSTORMNG COYOTES PLAY THIRD VENUE AT DESERT CHRISTIAN ACADEMY THIS SATURDAY VS. LAS VEGAS RUSH

(PALM DESERT) — If you live in Southern California and you haven’t seen a real Coyote up close, it’s your own fault.

The nationally ranked Coyotes will bring their thrilling full-throttle Run ‘n’ Shoot offense and ‘Darkside Defense’ to Palm Desert this Saturday when they host the Las Vegas Rush of the Wild West League under the lights at 7 p.m.

The Coyotes, 2-0, will make their den this week at Desert Christian Academy, 40-700 Yucca Lane, Bermuda Dunes, Ca., (just off I-10 at the cross-streets of Washington and Country Club).

Gates will open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $10, with children under 12 free.

National Player of the Year Nate Lewis will start at quarterback for the Coyotes, while the defense will be led by All-American Michael ‘Bo’ Bovain.

Temperature at kickoff will be in the low 40s, with no chance of rain.

Fans will have private, gated parking and full concessions. The field is only blocks from Freedom Park, one of the team’s practice facilities. Players from both teams will enjoy private locker rooms.

In two previous games this season, the Coyotes played on historic Catalina Island and at the posh Eldorado Polo Club in Indio. Last season, they played in Hemet, on the Soboba Indian Reservation.

“Coyotes make their homes in diverse habitats from deserts to forests,” said president and head coach J. David Miller. “But we also like being close to people in rural areas, suburbs and even cities. We want to make sure everybody gets the chance to see the Greatest Show on Turf.”

Early comers will enjoy limited bleacher seating, while fans are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for sideline festival seating.
