(CATHEDRAL CITY) – Dozens of men from all walks of life who engaged in an eight-week ‘Above the Line’ leadership training series between the SoCal Coyotes non-profit sports leadership organization and The Bridge Calvary Chapel graduated February 25 with an assignment to ‘be the difference’ in their homes, businesses, churches and communities.

“Never have we met a man whose life has been ruined because he prays too much,” encouraged Coyotes head coach J David Miller.

Over 60 men attended the the high-performance, ‘Above the Line’ workshop to seek a life ‘made alive in Christ’ – as outlined in Colossians. The instructional series at The Bridge Calvary Chapel ran  eight consecutive weeks, each Saturday morning, from January 7 through February 25.

Packed with practical wisdom and scriptural inspiration, the deep-dive, four-chapter study of the Book of Colossians ignited a powerful spiritual journey for hungry men who wished to learned how to build trust, step by step, in families, in relationships, in teams, even in Fortune 500 companies.

Men learned that spiritual growth is not an “event,” and doesn’t “just happen.” Classes addressed the ‘battle in the mind,’ teaching self-discipline and trust as the bedrock of great achievements and powerful relationships.

Above the Line is an outreach men’s ministry of The Bridge Calvary Chapel Cathedral City, and The SoCal Coyotes Non-Profit Sports Leadership Organization.
